Imperial Rooms, Matlock

The Imperial Rooms is our main performance space. It’s where we turn an ordinary hall into a theatre, and where we’d love to welcome you for a show.

A former Methodist church built in 1912, the Imperial Rooms is now run by Matlock Town Council, right in the town centre.

Getting here

Matlock railway and bus stations are about five minutes’ walk away.

There is accessible parking at the venue and a pay and display car park across the road. The car park has a two-hour limit, so please check the signs and plan for the length of your visit.

We sometimes perform elsewhere too. Our 2026 Love & Lust revue visited Youlgrave Village Hall as well as the Imperial Rooms. Always check the venue on your ticket before setting off.
