August: Osage County
by Tracy Letts · winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize
The Weston family gathers at their Oklahoma farmhouse after Beverly, the family's world-class poet, who has always liked a drink, disappears. Matriarch Violet, never one to bite her tongue, is joined by her three daughters and their partners, and out come the secrets, the jokes and the raw feelings. Darkly funny, fiercely compassionate and absolutely enormous: a night at the theatre you won't forget.
